Family Tree- Amethyst Dream

This Tree featured Amethyst, Amethyst and a side of Amethyst! What made it so special is the story!

Julie reached out with the coolest story! She moved from the UK to Ontario, Canada, many moons ago but was going to be travelling back to the UK to visit her sister for her birthday. She wanted something extra special, something that would capture their time spent outdoors but would also honour the beauty of Canada’s natural landscape. I’m so grateful Julie found me, it was an honour to bring this goal to life for her. Julie’s daughter found the most stunning piece of Amethyst from a local Ontarian. This is even more special because Julie’s sister had not even met her daughter in person, it had been THAT long since Julie and her sister had seen each other! Julie sent this piece of Amethyst, picked with the heart over to me on the AB/SK border to grow a lil Amethyst tree ontop of it. Julie wanted only Amethyst on this special little tree, so I found depth and variety through choice of Amethyst beads- using smaller facet and square styles, both 3mm and 6mm rounds and amethyst chips. The result is stunning.

Not to mention, this is my most well travelled tree to boot! The Ontario Amethyst travelled from Ontario —> Alberta/Sask Border back to Ontario and then from Ontario this tree travelled with Julie all the way across the pond for a surprise family reunion. I am overjoyed to offically have trees on 2 continents now, thanks to Julie’s delivery services ;)

These stories are what bring joy to my heart. The energy and love that gets woven into these little branches is palpable and when I get to work with people who are as passionate about the story behind them as I am, it’s electric! It makes me feel like I am creating tiny heirlooms for generations to come. I can’t express how honoured I am to be a part of it!
